At Physis Academy, we are committed to providing every pupil with high-quality careers guidance that helps them make informed decisions about their future. Our Careers Lead, Domoni, is a member of our Senior Leadership Team and provides strategic oversight of our careers programme.

Working closely with our Careers Co-ordinator, Andy Lawson, ensures that careers education is embedded throughout our curriculum and that all pupils have access to meaningful encounters with employers, further education providers, and workplace experiences.

Our approach includes:

• A comprehensive careers programme tailored to the needs of our pupils

• Regular employer encounters and workplace experiences to help pupils explore different industries and career paths

• Strong partnerships with local and national employers, colleges, and training providers

• Ongoing evaluation and improvement to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks – the national framework for excellent careers guidance

Our careers programme has the explicit backing of our governors and senior leaders, who are actively engaged in setting the direction for our whole-school approach to careers guidance.
